My husband had a company inc. 4 years ago in montreal. The company was making 0$ and he never filed his taxes.
Now the government is after him for 50,000$ plus 9,000$ for personal taxes. He is already struggling to pay his 20,000$ credit debt.
My questions :
1- if he does a bankruptcy will the buisness debts be eliminated even if he doesnt file the past 4 years of taxes (they already closed the company)
2- will the 9,000$ of persoal debt be eliminated?
3- if he declares bankruptcy will we ever be able to buy a house in the future?
p.s. his accountant is asking for 800$ per year to file his taxes and we dont have that money…..so hes not even able to do his taxes….
